Welcome to The Gentle Way
No rush. No fixing.
About Me
I’ve spent most of my working life alongside people who were going through something hard, loss, recovery, burnout, illness, endings that didn’t come with clear explanations.

I’m an ordained chaplain, and my background includes work in behavioral healthcare and hospice and palliative care. Much of that work happened in quiet rooms, at slow moments, where fixing the issue wasn’t possible and rushing made things worse.

That experience shaped how I work.

I don’t believe most people need to be pushed or analyzed to move forward. More often, they need space to slow down, tell the truth about what they’ve lived through, and regain their footing without being pressured into someone else’s version of growth.

Why I Do This Work
Over the years, I noticed how many people, especially neurodivergent adults like myself and people shaped by recovery, felt burned out by systems that moved too fast or demanded constant improvement. Many had already tried therapy, coaching, or healing spaces and came away feeling misunderstood or exhausted.

The Gentle Way grew out of that observation.

-
It’s not therapy.
-
It’s more like coaching.
-
And it’s not about fixing what’s broken.

It’s a quieter kind of guidance, presence, and non-clinical grounding in real experience. We slow things down. We make sense of what’s been weighing us down. We look at what no longer fits. And then, without pressure, we consider what might come next.

How I Work
My work is shaped by my own 30+ years in recovery, neurodivergent diagnosis, and years of sitting with people in the middle of major life changes. I don’t diagnose or promise outcomes. I offer conversation, a listening presence, and a steady pace. There’s room here for faith, doubt, grief, and unanswered questions. There’s also room to take things one step at a time.

Who This Is For
This tends to resonate with people who feel out of step with typical expectations, who are tired of being rushed, told to improve, or told what they should be working toward.

If you’re looking for a place where you can slow down, be honest, and move forward without being pushed into change, you’re welcome here.
